MojaKid is an innovative and conscious kids clothing company that seeks to communicate the values of respect, unity and freedom, which was founded by Meera Pandya out of her base in Redland, Bristol.

Meera Pandya founded MojaKid in 2019, but the idea had been in the works for 6 years prior to this. MojaKid creates ethical, sustainable and gender-neutral casual clothing for children.

Meera enrolled onto the North and East Bristol Enterprise Support (NEBES) programme earlier this year, seeking help with marketing her business. “The tailored conversation with NEBES around my personal challenges in business life and the directional guidance offered by the team, has been really useful and allowed me to target my immediate priorities for MojaKid.”

When asked about what it’s like to start and run your own business, Meera replied “It’s been really fulfilling, including the risks and challenges, to see a concept born out of passion and personal motivations become a reality, a business with a strong social and environmental purpose, that draws in like-minded people with a shared vision.”

“Having the opportunity for 1:1 conversations about marketing strategies and guidance from someone with the know-how created space for me to readjust my focus and strategy”.

Currently Meera is expanding the MojaKid collection, with more designs in production, as well as working on featuring the brand on marketplace e-commerce websites. Mojakid also shares 25% of profits with direct action projects tackling food insecurity for children and is looking to establish a partnership with a local organisation with the same focus.
